Welcome to the Inter-Tribal EcoVillage Council

The mission of the Inter-Tribal EcoVillage Council is to forward the Low Impact Sustainable Development initiative that the Lammas EcoVillage legally established in Wales and the United Kingdom through the development of EcoVillage training centers on native lands which will serve to educate and provide living models of low impact living within guidelines that can be exported into rural communities throughout the United States. 

The Inter-Tribal EcoVillage Council is being established in strategic alliance with the EcoVillage Low Impact Sustainable Development Agency whose mission is import the protocols and criteria established in the UK for U.S. county/state regional adaptation that would allow for LISD zoning and building codes to be adopted by local governments where state zoning and building codes have previously prohibited sustainable community developments.
